Gyudon

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • - 600g sukiyaki (wagyu) beef

  • - 1 Onion

  • - 80g peeled and sliced ginger

  • - 2 cups Mizkan Oigatsuo Tsuyu 2-bai

  • - 4 bowls steamed rice

  • - Beni-shoga (optional)

  • - Shichimi powder (optional)

Instruction

  1. 1. Cut beef and onion into bite-size.
  2. 2. Boil Oigatsuo Tsuyu and water with sliced ginger, simmer with 1.
  3. 3. Pour the beef and onion with the sauce over the rice. Add beni-shoga/shichimi powder suitably.

Note

Gyudon is one of the Japanese standard dishes known as 'Beef Bowl'. Spicy taste of Beni-shoga / Shichimi powder is a good accompaniment with sweetness of Gyudon sauce.
