Kizami Udon

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • - 1 pack Udon

  • - 1/2 Usuage (fried tofu)

  • - Kibun Chikuwa

  • - Sliced spring onion

  • - ~ Udon Soup ~

  • - 1 & 1/2 Tsp Dashi no moto

  • - 1 & 1/2 Tbsp Kikkoman Usukuchi Soy Sauce

  • - 2/3 Tbsp Kikkoman Honjo Mirin

  • - 1/2 Tbsp Kikkoman Cooking Wine

  • - Shichimi powder (Optional)

Instruction

  1. 1. Cut Usuage into 1cm thick slices.
  2. 2. Add 300 cc water and Udon Soup ingredients into a soup bowl, boil.
  3. 3. Add Udon and sliced Usuage, cook for 1 - 2 mins.
  4. 4. Pour cooked Udon, Usuage and soup into a bowl, add Chikuwa and cut spring onion.
  5. (Optional: Sprinkle Shichimi powder.)

Note

Simple and light flavored warm Udon is an ideal dish for autumn/winter.
